Human resources assistant ( temporary contract : 6 months)
Job Description
The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating and executing the recruitment process and provide general administrative support in the monitoring of day-to-day HR activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment cycle :
- Drafting/posting of job offers on different websites;
- Screening and selection of candidates and conduct pre interview by phone;
- Coordinate interview logistics with hiring managers and assist them;
- Manage pre-employment process ( reference check/ criminal record);
- Drafting of employment contracts and opening new employee files;
- Onboard and integrate new employees
- Review, draft and update job descriptions ;
- Sort, file and maintain employee files;
- Participate and support HR dept. in diverse projects such as “Programme de francisation”, occupational health and safety files, employee surveys etc.
Job qualifications
- Must have 6-12 months of recruitment experience of positions in manufacturing industry (machinists, quality control inspectors, deburrers etc.);
- Relevant education/training in human resources management;
- Microsoft office knowledge ( word, excel, powerpoint)
- Ability to manage multiple files/projects;
- Good interpersonal skills
- Bilingual : French/English ( Spoken and written)
