Human resources clerk

Job Description

Reporting to the director of human resources, you will be responsible for providing exclusive support to HR projects and day-to-day activities of the department.


  • Support the team in the recruitment process; internal/external postings, search for applicants, pre-selection & telephone interviews, schedule interviews, validate references and process pre-employment verifications;
  • Participate in the integration of new employees;
  • Participate in writing internal communications (memo, etc.);
  • Create and/or update various documents (organization chart, policies, procedures, prevention program, lockout cards, etc.);
  • Create and/or update various reports, forms, letters, tables, presentations;
  • Maintain various weekly and monthly records (active / inactive employee list, payroll reports, training, etc.);
  • Participate in the organization of special events (Annual BBQ- Family day / Christmas party etc.) ;
  • Manage the Social media editorial calendar;
  • As needed, and in close collaboration with the team, participate in any other HR activities or projects

Job qualifications

  • Must have at least a minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position:
  • Bilingual: French & English (spoken and written);
  • Advanced MS Office skills;
  • Top customer service skills;
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to set priorities;
  • Demonstrate versatility, flexibility and resourcefulness
