Quality control - Calibration technician
Job Description
Reporting to the Quality control manager the calibration technician will be responsible for calibrating measuring instruments for production purposes. He / She will have to manage and complete the required documentation and will have to ensure that the calibration activities are carried out within the prescribed deadlines and according to the specifications.
Responsibilities
- Calibrate measuring instruments such as:
- Basic dimensional measuring instruments (verniers, micrometers, indicators etc.);
- Tightening tools (Torque, screwdriver etc.);
- Pressure gauges
- Perform the required tests to validate the performance of the tools;
- Investigate and document non-conformities;
- Take charge of monitoring and technical actions of equipment during adjustments and / or breakage;
- Update various forms, procedures and work instructions related to instrument quality control;
- Maintain a register of instruments;
Job qualifications
- Must have 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position;
- Must have a college diploma in mechanical engineering or any other combination of training in metrology and relevant experience;
- Good knowledge of measuring instruments;
- Ability to work with excel and word files;
- Good communication and team spirit;
- Bilingual (French and English)
