CNC grinder machinist

We are looking for an experienced person in CNC grinding. The incumbent must from customer drawings specifications and requirements, produce micro finishes while grinding internal diameters for difficult-to-hold components on an internal grinder. (This is not an entry-level position)
 

• Set-up, adjust and operate the Studer S151 internal cylindrical grinder machine;
• Position and locate stops to control depth of cut and length of stroke;
• Perform inner diameter grinding operations from customer-supplied products as per blueprints/set-up sheet specifications;
• Identify from blueprints/set-up sheets : dimensions tolerances, grinding speeds, feed ratios, holding fixtures and grinding wheel to be used;
• Edit CNC programs to make sure parts are within required drawing tolerances;
• Monitor the feed and speed during the grinding process;
• Ensure all traceability for the work performed is complete and accurate as per quality standards

• Minimum of 3 years experience operating CNC grinders ;
• Vocational diploma in machining techniques or equivalent training;
• Knowledge of various cutting tools and grinding of different types of materials;
• Bilingual ( English work environment)
