CNC Machinist
Job Description
We're seeking a dedicated individual to join our team under the supervision of our esteemed Production Manager. As a CNC Machinist, you'll play a pivotal role in executing complex machining operations using Lathe machines.
Responsibilities
- Operate and setup CNC machines;
- Loading and unloading of materials;
- Read and interpret work instructions from blueprints, manufacturing process sheets etc.;
- Loading of program into CNC machine;
- Monitor operating of the machine to ensure proper program performance;
- Ensure machining of complex parts as per specifications;
- Verify conformity of machined parts using instruments such as micrometers and calipers;
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery.
Job qualifications
- Possess a technical diploma in CNC machining or equivalent training and experience.;
- Demonstrate between 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role;
- Bilingual proficiency in both French and English, with advanced ability to read and interpret English work instructions;
- Advanced comprehension of operations on CNC machines and G&M codes;
- Available to work on an Evening shift;
- Evening shift: 3:15pm to 11:15pm – Additional 2$ premium per hour
