Deburring Operator
Job Description
Under the supervision of the production support manager, the deburring operator is responsible for removing rough edges and burrs from components and polishing finished pieces. The operator must verify and inspect the quality of work before passing items to the next stage in the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
- Remove burrs and rough edges from parts;
- Polish finished pieces to achieve desired specifications;
- Inspect and verify the final product for any excess material or defects;
- Utilize a variety of deburring tools and equipment;
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace;
- Support the parts-cleaning department.
Job qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Effective communication skills;
- Proficient in French or English (written and oral);
- Available to work in the Evening shift
- Evening shift: 3:15pm to 11:15pm – Additional $2 premium per hour
