Delivery Driver
Job Description
We are currently looking for a delivery driver to join our supply chain team!
Under the supervision of the supply chain manager, the delivery driver is responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and timely pickup and delivery of materials and products while supporting shipping, receiving, and material handling activities.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver materials, products, and customer orders according to established schedules;
- Safely load, transport, and unload goods while complying with company procedures and safety standards;
- Receive incoming shipments and distribute materials to the appropriate departments or storage locations;
- Prepare, package, and ship customer orders, ensuring accuracy and quality requirements are met;
- Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment;
- Complete delivery, shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation accurately;
- Maintain the cleanliness and safe operation of the assigned vehicle and equipment;
- Work collaboratively with the supply chain team to support efficient daily operations.
Job qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a delivery, transportation, shipping/receiving, or warehouse environment;
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with an excellent driving record;
- Forklift operator certification is an asset;
- Basic computer and data entry skills;
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and good communication;
- Bilingualism—French/English.
