General worker- Maintenance (Temporary Contract)
Job Description
At Leesta, recently acquired by Pursuit Aerospace, we manufacture precision aerospace components for some of the world's leading aircraft engine and aerospace manufacturers.
Reporting to the maintenance supervisor, the general worker plays an important role in supporting both the production and maintenance departments. He/She will help maintain the cleanliness and functionality of CNC machines and other equipment, ensuring smooth daily operations.
This is a temporary contract position (12 months), with the possibility of extension based on business needs.

Responsibilities
- Conduct regularly scheduled plant rounds to replenish coolant and oil levels and collect metal chips and other production waste;
- Safely collect, handle, and dispose of materials in accordance with established health and safety procedures, while minimizing disruption to production operations;
- Maintain and organize consumable supplies, ensuring materials are properly stocked and stored in their designated areas;
- Identify and report equipment, maintenance, or supply-related issues to the Maintenance Supervisor;
- Perform basic corrective and preventive maintenance activities as required, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs on CNC machines;
- Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requirements and support the maintenance team in maintaining equipment.
Job qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment;
- Strong communication and teamwork skills;
- Good organizational and time-management skills;
- Ability to work independently while following established procedures and health and safety requirements;
- Basic knowledge of CNC machines is considered an asset;
- Bilingualism in French and English;
- Availability to work the day shift, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
