Method Agent
Job Description
The method agent must, from the customer's technical drawings and internal manufacturing process concepts at Leesta; create manufacturing instructions and sketches for various machining operations.
Responsibilities
- Define, describe and distribute: work instructions, drawings and assembly plans intended for the production of parts;
- Interpret, verify and approve drawings and other documents from the engineering department;
- Participate and contribute to the choice of manufacturing methods and the improvement of production tools;
- Define and design tools (machining fixtures, specific cutting tool);
- Optimize processes and solve technical problems in collaboration with operations;
- Assist, as needed, senior planners / programmers to develop better manufacturing processes;
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the machine shop;
Job qualifications
• DEP in mechanical engineering or any other combination of technical training and experience deemed relevant;
• Between 5 and 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the aerospace industry;
• Knowledge of MasterCam software;
• Ability to work in a Siemens NX design environment;
• Experience in machining is an asset;
• Good knowledge of sizing and geometric tolerance;
• Bilingual (French and English)
