Methods Manager - Precision Machining / Aerospace / CNC

We’re seeking a Methods Manager to lead our team of Methods Agents and CNC Programmers. This newly created role offers an exciting opportunity to directly impact the efficiency, precision, and reliability of our precision machining processes in the aerospace sector.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and supervise the daily activities of the industrialization team (Methods and CNC programming)
  • Prioritize tasks based on production requirements and customer deadlines
  • Ensure technical accuracy of work instructions, process sheets, and CNC programs
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Tooling, and New Product Introduction (NPI) & sales teams
  • Support and develop team members while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and resolve technical challenges

Job qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical coordination, project leadership, or team supervision in a precision machining or manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of machining processes (milling, turning, etc.)
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, NX Siemens is an asset)
  • Hands-on, floor-focused leadership style with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and communicate effectively in a cross-functional team
  • Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written)

Education

  • Degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience
