Methods Manager

Are you a hands-on technical leader with a strong understanding of machining processes and production readiness?
At Leesta Industries, we manufacture critical engine and landing gear components for the aerospace sector. To support our operations, we’re looking for an Methods Manager to lead our team responsible for manufacturing methods and CNC programming.

In this key role, you will help ensure the reliability, precision, and efficiency of our technical processes that support the production of complex aerospace components.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and supervise the daily activities of the Industrialization team (methods and CNC programming)
  • Prioritize tasks based on production needs and customer deadlines
  • Ensure the technical accuracy of work instructions, process sheets, and CNC programs
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Tooling, and New Product Introduction teams
  • Support and develop team members while fostering a strong, collaborative environment
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and resolve technical issues as they arise

Job qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical coordination or supervisory role in a manufacturing environment
  • Solid knowledge of machining processes (milling, turning, etc.)
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, NX Siemens)
  • Hands-on, floor-driven leadership style with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and communicate effectively in a cross-functional context
  • Fluency in both French and English – spoken and written

Education

  • Degree or technical diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
