Specialist - Quality Assurance and Operational Excellence

Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance and Operational Excellence Specialist to ensure top-quality standards and operational efficiency in our aerospace manufacturing company. This mid-senior level role oversees non-conformities, optimizes supplier performance, and leads continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on Customer Care.


Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards, as well as regulatory and industry requirements for aerospace manufacturing;
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers to resolve product issues;
  • Manage customer complaints and quality notifications, implementing immediate containment actions;
  • Facilitate Customer Corrective Action Board (CAB) meetings ;
  • Oversee product non-conformity resolutions, including Quality Notification (QN) reports;
  • Lead Root Cause and Corrective Actions (RCCA) processes;
  • Manage First Article Inspection (FAI) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions.


Continuous improvement:

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives aligned with strategic needs;
  • Optimize processes using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and SPC methodologies;
  • Organize training workshops on quality/lean methodologies and problem-solving;
  • Promote a culture of operational excellence and innovation.

Job qualifications

  • Diploma in Engineering, Quality Management , or related field;
  • 5 to 8 years experience in a similar role;
  • Advanced knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001;
  • Experience with NCM, CAPA, and supplier quality management;
  • Proficiency in lean manufacturing;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Bilingual : French and English ( Spoken and Written)
