Job Description
We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer to join our supply chain team and support our production operations in a manufacturing environment.
Reporting to the supply chain manager, this role is at the core of our day-to-day activities, ensuring materials and services are available on time to maintain production flow and delivery commitments.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and process purchase requests for materials, components, and services to support production operations;
- Prepare, issue, and manage purchase orders through the ERP system (Visual or equivalent);
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure delivery commitments are met and resolve delays or discrepancies;
- Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier data in the ERP system, including pricing, quantities, lead times, and order status;
- Analyze inventory levels, MRP signals, and production requirements to determine order quantities and replenishment needs;
- Identify and communicate supply risks or material shortages, proposing solutions to minimize impact on production;
- Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and quality teams;
- Maintain effective supplier relationships, including RFQs, negotiations, and performance follow-up;
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including cost reduction and inventory optimization efforts.
Job qualifications
- Diploma in purchasing or procurement, or equivalent experience;
- 2–3 years of experience in purchasing or materials coordination in a manufacturing environment;
- Exposure to ERP/MRP systems;
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail;
- Reliable, accountable, and consistent in execution;
- Bilingual (French and English);
- Experience with Visual ERP (or equivalent) is considered an asset.
